My Antarctic Adventure took me to a beautiful, pristine wilderness, covered in ice and snow. There, in breathtaking landscapes, I watched penguins, seals, and whales in their natural environment.
This short trip across southern Iceland showed us some of its spectacular landscapes with lava fields, waterfalls, glaziers, and icebergs. The northern lights also provided a great show for us.
Starting in the east, our wonderful Bhutan wildlife adventure took us right across the country to the west along the slopes of the Himalayas, reaching just above 4000 metres at our highest point.
With rainforests, mangrove swamps, savannahs and tropical reefs, this was presented as a nature lovers paradise and we were not disappointed.
Goodbye Norway, hello Finland again Day 14 (1 June): We drove back to Ivalo, having another good look at the snowy mountains before heading for the Tana River and crossing the border back into Finland.
